Indespension CT27167 Twin Axle Car Transporter

It was purchased from new in March 2010 but longer required. It has twin axles and can carry a a load of 2112KG (GVW 2700kg) on its 4.94 x 1.94 deck, (16 x 7') which is flat/solid.

The 'easyslide' loading ramps are built into the rear chassis framework and slide out for use, with the drop down locking/light plates acting as prop stands when loading.

It has the anti-theft locking 50mm ball hitch, a hand operated winch we we added and the (unused) spare wheel. All tyres are good.
It comes with Indespension handbook, two keys, the tie down rachet straps with 4 wheel loops.

The pictures above are manufacturers pix to show the trailer. the item for sale is identical. It has very slight damage to the offside mudguard where it was pushed gently against a post, but apart from some wear on the deck and the galvanised chassis being discoloured from use it looks the same.
We have used the trailer commercially and estimate it will have covered about 5-6000 miles during that time.

Wessex Trailer with Demountable Containers

Prototype twin axle Wessex trailer fitted with hydraulic pump circuit and self-contained power source. Full functional and in regular operation this was the model upon which the production trailers were based. It is approximately 6 years old. It has full height jack legs, which will demount a container to ground level from the bed of the trailer. The operation is single-handed and needs no external power source to function. The trailer has electronic wheel drives on all road wheels and can be manoeuvred short distances into position; the drives also facilitate the demounting process.

There are two containers, which have an hydraulic interface built into the chassis. The external dimensions of the containers are 2 mtrs wide 2.225 high and 4.850long approximately and the payload is approaching two tonnes.

Car Trailer

This trailers has done me very pround moving around a few project cars. It tows very well, no shakes or rattles.

Its is mechanically sound, the wheel bearings are in good working order, tyres have nearly-new tread and the brake shoes are brand new.

The trailer has over-run brakes on it, which work very well and the hand brake is just as good.

When I bought the trailer it needed a few things replacing on it, it has got new wheel arches, new light board at the back, new brake shoes

As they were a bit low when I bought it & new rear legs to make the trailer more stable when loading.

When I bought the trailer it had no winch on it and as some of my project cars did'nt run, so I fitted one which can pull 2,500 lbs which i belive is over a tonne & half, so more than enough pulling power.

The ramps that come with the trailer are a bit steep, most of the time this wasn't a problem, but when it was I just used a couple of pieces of wood to help the wheels on to the ramps.

The trailer has just been re-painted, so in all, a very good looking trailer ready to work.

• 1x refrigerated batter dispenser patented in stainless steel. This dispenser is fixed on a rail which enables you to move it from one griddle to another. The rail has stiffened slightly but it is still operable.It is equipped with a crepe. counter that allows you to check the number of crepes made during a day. A thermometer gives you the temperature of the crepes batter and an adjustment permits you to measure the good quantity of batter to pour on the crepes griddle
• 3x refrigerated gastro containers with lid (American System patented) for cold ingredients such as fresh strawberries, ham, cheese. The containers are in contact with the refrigeration system to maintain the ingredients at low temperature

The cooling system runs on an electrical fridge, 22O/23O volt 5O period that allows you to store cold ingredients, cold drinks or your batter made in advance all day long.

• The \"Dry\" Part

This part is reserved for the storage of crepe batter bags, plastic plates, cutlery, napkins, dry ingredients etc..

The trolley is equipped with two wheels of 12 in diameter (rubber tyre) and a directional wheel. A single person can move it very easily. two wheels have breaklocks however, one lock is broken.

The Starship is a two storey structure offering over 400 sq feet of floor space but occupying only 22ft x 9ft of ground space (30ft including the wing panels by 18ft wide including the stage area). The units comprise 2 x 22ft by 9ft cabins stacked one on top of the other. The top one being rotatable so that the balcony can face either way. There is a viewing / camera platform on the roof of the top unit, facilitating a view some 22ft from the ground. The balcony on the second level provides standing room for up to eight people or four people seated.

At ground level the display/exhibition area can be accessed via the fold-out stage. Staff access to the unit at ground level is through a side door into the editing /office area and through into the exhibition area. The second level is accessed by a staircase and through a single door to the hospitality lounge and out on to a viewing balcony through double French windows. There is seating for up to 12 people on reception style furniture with occasional coffee tables as well as a fold-away dining table which can accommodate up to six people. The Hospitality kitchen area includes two fridges, one microwave oven and one table top oven. There is ample cupboard space for storage of drinks and consumables. There is a CD/Radio player and speakers installed in the Hospitality Lounge. Both units are fully carpeted with hardwearing weatherproof carpet. Internal walls are covered in exhibition needlecord to facilitate the fixing of graphics with Velcro. There are 13amp power outlets, TV, video and phone points throughout. Each unit has a built in Chubb security system.

Branding areas on the front of the unit are on the roof either side 10’ x 3’ area of the upper unit, one side only 10’ x 8’. Wing panels four of each 8’ x 4’. Above the stage 8’ x 1’4” branding panels, four of 3’ x 2’, two of 3’ x 3’ and two of 2’ x 1’. There are two flag poles with flag arms.’

he trailer has the wheels underneath the body with a completely flat floor. To the near side there is a flap raised by the use of gas struts (flap complete with logo board). Servicing this aperture is 3 metres of fold out aluminium chequered plate steps complete with 2 chrome handrails. To either side of the near side aperture there is a display wing panel that is permanently fitted and locks over the flap when the unit is not in use. In the rear panel there is a personnel door that is off set towards the near side. A small cupboard unit with compartment door is recessed into the near side of the nose cone and houses a battery and charger as well as the spare wheel. The trailer is also fitted with a remote controlled caravan mover, enabling easy positioning by one person.

A 240V electric package including 16amp mains inlet socket and hook up lead, consumer unit with RCD protection, 2 double sockets, two sets of 4 spot lights and one 1200mm strip light. Full road lighting (main combination lights will be recessed) is included.

This is a Loxton tri-axle box trailer, built in 2007 by Shaftesbury Trailers.

Gross weight of 3500 kg.

It has a shutter door on the off-side and a servery counter on driver side as per photo. Would be ideal for a marquee or outside catering company
